A sliced tomato
It's taken a while since I've put up a new photo just because I liked it myself.

a low high
It's all wonderfully hazy now in my world.
I wish I could show it to someone.
I'm wearing a flu tonight
Avoiding responsibility? Isn't it ever enough
will anyone ever have a rest
Not being comprehensible enough though I'm talking in public
afterwards they come and thank me of how sincere I was
having understood not a word
I'm floating here, I'm safe perhaps
perhaps on this second I shall trust, God
That's the only direction I seem to have
This is for you, for that no one
who everyone talks to
from my hazy heated head
Truths are haunting me inside
the ones without a name
without a label to express
the puzzled face of the one who knows you best
my rebellion against communication

palasista
Again, my title isn't descriptive at all. Well it's a simple diary entry.
I have lately been
- wondering about CMS and GUI matters, for a research course,
- worrying about getting a summer job,
- going to a swimming hall, having high hopes about finally learning to keep my body in shape on a regular basis and
- learning to know a local Christian youth group, Timoteus.
Also, saw the movies Luther and Brokeback Mountain.

Schneier.com
From the page: "The key is to think of security not in absolutes, but in terms of sensible trade-offs, whether on a personal or global scale. Schneier's practical approach to problem-solving is a refreshing antidote to today's doomsday pessimism and anxiety. With the technical know-how and common sense that have made him one of the world's top security experts, Schneier shows how we can move beyond fear to start thinking sensibly and creatively about security."
For once, it's refreshing to come across a healthy attitude towards security.

There was a hole in the ice
During the weekend I was on a Christian camp (of the Uusi Verso network) with Hankku and a bunch of other Christians, mostly from Tampere. Got to meet interesting people, to swim in an avanto for the second time in my life, and most of all, to learn about finding my place in God's kingdom. Jim Mills and David Boyd were there, too. I got David's CDs {sit...} and guitART.
Tonight, though I was supposed to go sleep early, I made a hack using rss2email and postman to import my Stumbleupon entries to this journal. :)

mezzoblue &&& css crib sheet
From the page: "You will no doubt come across many quirky layout issues when building a site with CSS. You'll end up banging your head against a wall time and again. This is an attempt to make the design process easier, and provide a quick reference to check when you run into trouble."

What is this?
A Christian student writing about life, faith, software etc. both in English and in Finnish. Some photos and poetry, too. Not thinking much about whether I'm being interesting or not. See also my work blog: Moodle Quiz UI
Please comment. Anything :).
Helsinki time, GMT+2.
