when I think of it my fingers turn to fists
Listening to Fiona Apple. I've been listening to her rather dark-vibed music quite a lot lately.
Finished reading two autobiographies translated to Finnish:
- Kay Redfield Jamison's autobiography An Unquiet Mind: A Memoir of Moods and Madness (about the manic-depressive illness), and
- Jakov Damkani's Lama davka ani? / Why me? (an evengelizing book telling the story of a Messianic Jew).
They were both good books, interesting in their own ways. Also common for both of them was the feeling I got: I don't understand even close to enough to be capable of determining for myself an opinion of the many claims they make. Yesterday I saw Cristian Mungiu's movie OCCIDENT with Ada, Alex and a bunch of other Romanian friends. There's a Romanian film week going on at the local cinema Niagara.
Today the kind people at the university confirmed that my employment contract is going to be continued for the Autumn. We shall see how well I'll be capable of concentrating on both working and studying at the same time.
Dad's going to come to my place tomorrow for the night. He's going to attend to some kind of a software development seminar in the nearby technical university.

What is this?
A Christian student writing about life, faith, software etc. both in English and in Finnish. Some photos and poetry, too. Not thinking much about whether I'm being interesting or not. See also my work blog: Moodle Quiz UI
Please comment. Anything :).
