Project schedule
Below is the project schedule, updated on June 2nd, 2008. It does not include the research done in May.
Compared to the original schedule, the justification is as follows. The original one had as its last task “Extending Quiz UI for Question Bank integration”; however, during further user research and design iterations, it became apparent that even novice users benefit from being able to seeing the Question Bank and - with the new prototype (which will be published during week 25 when the usability test documentation is ready) - are capable of using it with minimal documentation. Thus, now the first implementation phase includes also the part of the UI that essentially integrates it with the Question Bank, and the third implementation phase, already then optional, has been dropped out.
Also, I see usability documentation as such a fundamental role in this project that I have extended its share of time to have two weeks from the beginning. This part includes having especially the gathered usage scenarios presented to the community so that we will have taken as wide an array of usage scenarios as possible into account in the actual design.
